Ski & Snowboard reports for Glencoe, Glenshee, Nevis Range, Lecht and Cairngorm

The Winterhighland app provides regularly updated lift, snow and weather report data for all five of the commercial snow sports areas in Scotland (Glencoe, Glenshee, Nevis Range, The Lecht and Cairngorm) and the Lowther Hills club field. This app is a must for any Scottish Skier or Snowboarder. This app has been designed for use in low-bandwidth environments, enabling quick display of snow report data even when the connection bandwidth is too low to allow easy access to the Winterhighland and other Scottish snow sports websites.Features:- All resorts overview.- Resort summary.- Resort weather and snow conditions report.- Lift status.- Resort and Winterhighland twitter feeds.- Direct access to webcams (requires additional bandwidth).- Resort meta-data updates (eg new Webcam URLs, Lifts etc) can be delivered instantly as part of the report data.Note: Viewing external links (eg MWIS and SAIS pages or links in Twitter messages) will require additional bandwidth.December 2020: Due to the lack of recent updates, this app is now a free download. The backend is still working despite the warning when installing on newer phones. A proper update is still intended "at some point" (the developer is very busy...).- New UI styling.- Run opening/closing status for Glencoe, Nevis Range and Cairngorm. Please note, to get back to the list of resorts, you now need to use the "back" button on the top left.

Ben MacDui

it does thd job

Pablo Rodríguez

App is good to dip into for webcams and current weather, however still have to check the site for longer range weather, the app should maybe add this in

Derek Doig

Useful app to check out snow conditions. Condition updates are regular and gives clear picture of conditions. UI a bit clunky but functional. Needs a little more detail (eg longer range weather forecasts) but otherwise a good start!
